    1.   Try to consume less sugar

    The modern western diet has a bad relationship with sugar. Sugar is present in much of the processed foods we consume, not just in soft drinks. Even options you thought were entirely savoury will have hidden sugars in them.

    Sugar is linked to obesity and other poor health outcomes. Limiting the amount of added sugar in your diet can only ever be a good thing for your health.

    2.   Go outside more often

    Many of us spend too much time indoors watching TV or playing video games. Head outside and get some fresh air and sunlight – your body will thank you for it.

    Find some friends who are also stuck indoors and plan an outdoor activity with them. Everyone will be more likely to participate if you give them something fun to do.

    3.   Cook more at home

    Cooking meals at home with fresh ingredients is much healthier than buying fast food or eating lots of instant microwaveable meals. Look up some recipes online and clean your kitchen so that you’re ready to whip up something delicious.
