It is a good idea to organise something small once a week, it doesn’t have to be for too long, or be anything too elaborate, something as simple as going to take an hour lunch in the park would be a good place to start.
Obviously, things are going to pop up from time to time that need you to address them urgently, but try not to re-schedule, or put off the time you have made for yourself. There are also some things in life that you don’t want to miss, like your child’s birthday for example, so make sure you set hard rules for important life milestones that you do not want to miss.
